Our Police Department Ranks

We have six ranks within our department, each with increasing responsibilities. Here's what each rank involves:

 

Recruit:
The starting point for all new officers. Learn the basics of law enforcement, undergo training, and prepare for the next step in your career.

 

Officer:
As an Officer, you'll patrol the streets, make arrests, and help ensure the safety of the community. You're an active part of the team and a key figure in our law enforcement efforts.

 

Sergeant:
Sergeants oversee Officers, assist with training, and ensure that the department runs smoothly during patrols. They also step in to supervise operations when needed.

 

Lieutenant:
Lieutenants take on a leadership role within the department. They manage divisions, handle complex situations, and make critical decisions in high-stakes situations.

 

Captain:
Captains are responsible for department operations, setting goals, managing personnel, and ensuring that the department functions efficiently. They play a key role in maintaining the overall success of the department.

 

Chief of Police:
As the highest-ranking officer, the Chief of Police has full control over the department. This includes managing recruitment, enforcing policies, and making important decisions. The Chief operates independently of the admins, with the freedom to run the department as they see fit.
